About Online Examination System

Today Online Examination System has become fast growing examination method because of its speed and accuracy. Online Examination System is the simplest to use web-based application for schools, colleges, university, coaching classes, training centres, certification agencies, recruitment firms to conduct timer-based, completely automated paperless examinations.

Online Examination System has modules like question bank, examination , test setup, giving examination, calculate results, view results, store test data, administrator module to manage examination, question and its options. Online Examination System is also needed less manpower to execute the examination. Today, almost all exams and recruitment tests are being conducted in online mode. We provide Online Examination System project in php with database free download. We also provide Online Examination System project report in php. This is simple php mysql project which student can easily configure it and learn a lot from these. We provide free php projects with source code and database.

The main objective of Online Examination System as follows are:

  • To provide an interface through which student can appear for examination online for objective as well as subjective type question.
  • To provide registration for students done by themselves.
  • To not provide facility of copy and paste while attempting the subjective questions on the web page.
  • When the student starts the exam the timer will start automatically and show the student how much time is left.
  • The question will be display randomly from question bank.
  • Objective answer will be checked automatically by the system from the database.
  • For subjective answer manually checking by exam department will take place.
  • To provided user name and password facility and credentials should be checked properly at the time of login for student, expert, controller and Examination Department admin.

Modules and Description of Online Examination System Project:

Exams Module :

The main objective for developing this module is provide all the functionality realted to Exams. This Exams module is an important module in this project Online Examination System which has been developed on PHP and MySQL. It tracks all the information and details of the Exams. We have developed all type of CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations of the Exams.

Features of Exams Module:

  • Admin can add new Exams
  • Admin can see the list of Exams details
  • Only admin can edit and update the record of the Exams
  • Admin will be able to delete the records of the Exams
  • All Exams forms are validated on client side using JavaScript

Long Question Module :

The main objective for developing this module is to manage the long question data wise. So all long question will be managed by admin. Admin can see the list of all the long question and filter it according to the user. It tracks all the information and details of the long question. We have developed all type of CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations of the long question.

Matching Question Module :

The main purpose for developing this module is to manage the matching question. So all matching question will be managed by admin and user will be able to see the matching question.

Short Question Module :
