Gone are the days when lots of frauds and mismanagements are done in offices at the time of attendance especially in the government offices a lot of people takes advantage of the poor attendance system by marking fake attendance /proxies. Management of attendance system records are literally an important aspect in the offices as it decides the whole system of payment of salaries to its employees and at this time no risk is to be taken as it out lashes the image of the company for getting done attendance part in a right manner all new system known as RFID based employee attendance system has taken its part.
Radio frequency identification based attendance management system( RFID) is the most considered system used nowadays.
RFID attendance system solves the problem of data accuracy and the efficiency of staff performance. Data of every single employee regarding attendance and salary received by him is recorded in the system.
RFID process is considered because presence of employees determines the work performance, salaries of the employees, productivity of the firm and the progress that firm will make in near future.
RFID system of attendance works on a tag and chip basis in this technology a special tag is given in form of chip that contains an unique code of information tag that is readed by RFID reader.
Technology Used in the project RFID Based Employee Attendance System
Software component for the project to develop user interface for (IOT RFID Based Employee Attendance System)
- Embedded C Language : All the hardware interface coding has been done in Embedded C Language
- PHP : All the business logic and the web interface has been written in PHP
- MySQL : MySQL database has been used as database for the project
- Apache 2 : The web interface is running over the apache2 server
- JavaScript : For from validations and animation effects
- JQuery Library : We have used many of the jQuery Library in the project such as Calendar
