Java, JSP and MySQL Project on Mini EBay (An Online Auction Web Application)

We have developed this project Mini EBay on Java, JSP and MySQL Platform and it runs over the Tomcat Server. The main objective for developing this project is to manage the activities of three types of user. There are three type of users in this project, first one is admin and second one is customer and third one is seller. Admin will be able to manage information about products, customer, seller, bidding products etc. Customer can see all the information bidding products and products etc. We can develop easy java projects code for students who want to use java software projects to learn and we can also provide advanced java projects with source code free download. This project provides a lot of features to manage the products in very well manner. This project contains a lot of advance modules which makes the back end system very powerful. Modules and Description of Mini EBay Project:

Customer Module :

The main purpose of this module is provide all the functionality related to customers. Student can find all the java projects for learning with source code and full documentations. Customer module is the main module in this major java project. It tracks all the information and details of the customer. We have developed all type of CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations of the customers. This is a role based module where admin can perform each and every operations on data but the customer will be able to view only his/her data, so access level restrictions has also been implemented on the project.

Features of Customer Module:

  • Admin can add new customers records
  • Admin can see the list of customers details
  • Only admin can edit and update the record of the customers
  • Admin will be able to delete the records of the customers
  • All customers forms are validated on client side using JavaScript
  • Customer will be able to see his details
  • Customer will be able to update his details

Seller Module :

The main purpose of this module is provide all the functionality realted to sellers. Here Student get all the easy java projects with source code and full documentations. It tracks all the information and details of the sellers. We have developed all type of CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) operations of the sellers. This is a role based module where admin can perform each and every operations on data but the seller will be able to view only his/her data, so access level restrictions has also been implemented on the project.

Product Module :

The main purpose for developing this module is to manage the category of the products data wise. So all products will be managed by admin and customer will be able able to see product listing. Admin and Seller can easily add new products. Admin can see the list of all the list of product and filter it according to the customers. Products Bid Module :

The main purpose for developing this module is to manage the bids on product. Student can easily saerch and get online java projects with source code and full documentations. So all bidding products will be managed by admin and customer will be able to bid on all the products.

Functionality performed by Customer user:

  • Product Details : This is the product details form where customer will be able to see product details.
  • Change Password : This is the cahnge password module from where ccustomer change his account password.

Functionality performed by Seller user:

  • Seller Registration : Any Seller can register on wesbite using the registration module.
  • Seller Login : This is the login form, from where Seller can login into the system
  • Seller Listing : Seller can see all the product listing from this form.
  • Seller Product Reports : Seller can see all the product reports from this form
  • Seller Add Product : This is the Seller Add Product form in this project.
  • Seller Bids Reports: This is the Seller bids reports form where Seller will be able to see bids report.
  • Change Password : This is the cahnge password module from where cSeller change his account password.

We have developed this project using the below technology

  • HTML : Page layout has been designed in HTML
  • CSS : CSS has been used for all the desigining part
  • JavaScript : All the validation task and animations has been developed by JavaScript
  • JSP : All the front end logic has been written in JSP
  • Java : All the bussiness logic has been written in Java
  • MySQL : MySQL database has been used as database for the project
  • Tomcat : Project will be run over the Tomcat server

We can configure this project on following operating system.

  • Windows : This project can easily be configured on windows operating system. For running this project on Windows system, you will have to install Tomcat 7, JDK 7, MySQL 5.
