Objective of Java Project on Shopping Cart System

The main objective of the Java Project on Shopping Cart System is to manage the details of Customer, Category, Orders, Cart, Payment. It manages all the information about Customer, Products, Payment, Customer. The project is totally built at administrative end and thus only the administrator is guaranteed the access. The purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work for managing the Customer, Category, Products, Orders. It tracks all the details about the Orders, Cart, Payment.

Functionalities provided by Java Project on Shopping Cart System are as follows:

  • Provides the searching facilities based on various factors. Such as Customer, Orders, Cart, Payment
  • College Management System also sells the employees details online for students details, employees details, courses.
  • It tracks all the information of Category, Products, Cart ect
  • Manage the information of Category
  • Shows the information and description of the Customer, Orders
  • To increase efficiency of managing the Customer, Category
  • It deals with monitoring the information and transactions of Cart.

Report generation:

  • It generates the report on Customer, Category,Products
  • Provide filter reports on Orders, Cart, Payment
  • You can easily export PDF for the Customer,Products, Cart
  • Application also provides excel export for Category, Orders, Payment
  • You can also export the report into csv format for Customer, Category, Payment

Limitation of Java Project on Shopping Cart System

  • Excel export has not been developed for Products, Cart due to some criticality.
  • The transactions are executed in off-line mode, hence on-line data for Customer, Category capture and modification is not possible.
  • Off-line reports of Customer, Orders, Payment cannot be generated due to batch mode execution.

Input Data and Validation of Java Project on Shopping Cart System

  • All the fields such as Customer, Orders, Payment are validated and does not take invalid values
  • Each form for Customer, Category,Products can not accept blank value fields
